Meteore-Large Green Lever Fill Fountain Pen-Ca. 1930s. Meteore is extremely well known for its quality pens like the Meteore Pullman. During this time period it was considered one of the best French Pen Makers. These larger size Meteore Pens are extremely rare especially with such good color. It is in beautiful condition. There are no cracks or chips in the cap or the barrel. The green color is vivrant and truly incredible. Both the chasing as well as the imprints are deep and crisp. The pen has a very nice medium, flexible 18K solid gold nib which writes smoothly. It measures 5.1" long and is .54" thick at its widest point. This pen has been completely cleaned and restored and is in working order. I used silicone sacs in all my pens. I do this to help keep them from discoloring as silicone does not off-gass. It is also not affected by many of todays inks. Please email me if you are shipping overseas as rates will vary from country to country.
