Imperial Pelletier-OVERSIZE Mottled Hard Rubber Button Fill Fountain Pen-Ca. 1920s. There is no question that there is a relationship of some sort with Conway Stuart as this pen looks just like the early hard rubber Conways. It is in beautiful condition. There are no cracks or chips in the cap or the barrel. The color is excellent and the hard rubber shows no discoloration. The imprints are complete though a bit week. The trim shows only the slightest of wear to the ball of the clip. The pen has a very fine, semi-flexible 18K solid gold nib which writes smoothly. It measures 5.1" long and is .57" thick at its widest point. This pen has been completely cleaned and restored and is in working order. I have put a silicone sac into all my pens/. Silicone sacs are not harmed by any of the inks made today. They also do not off-gas and discolor the celluloid pens.
